Momma needs a new pair of shoes

The (financial) times, they are a-changing, but I’d rather not change my spending habits too much - so I’ve signed up for PayPerPost to see if maybe I can earn a bit of spare money on my blog. Yes, a lot of people will probably frown upon this, but if you’ve ever had any interest in my writing to begin with, I don’t see why that should change now.

A lot of people have recommended PPP to me - it seems that the lovely ladies over at Lavish especially favour it. So I decided to give it a go myself! So far it looks good – a few opportunities were available to me right from the get go, and the opps all look nice and legit. I also appreciate the fact that I can choose NOT to apply for an opp at all, should I not want to write anything about the product/site/etc in question.

I’m also going to sign up for the PPP boards and see if I can’t meet some new people along the way. New friends and acquaintances are always fun.

I can’t wait to see how this works out for me! Obviously it will require some work on my side, writing up posts that are good enough for both my readers and the eventual advertiser. I’m not expecting to make big bucks this way, but just a little extra would be great – like I said, I’d like to keep up my spending habits (a few books and movies every now and then, a new pair of shoes when I need them, stuff like that).

Ok, there you have it. Don’t stop loving me - I’m still the same ol’ Renate. :)
