Productivity used to be my middle name
…but then it wrote a letter to the National Registry saying that I had no right to use that name. Productivity can be such a bitch.
I’m supposed to be studying. To my defense, I have studied a little bit. It’s just that, well, today’s foreign affairs and politics bore me enough, and it wasn’t any better in the middle ages. I keep getting confused with the countries and their boundaries. At least now, as far along as I’ve read, England and France seem to be pretty settled down, border-wise. Germany, on the other hand… Talk about a mess. I fear that instead of reading the third book I am supposed to have read before the final exam, I will have to go through the second book (the one I’m currently reading) again and take notes, and then make a timeline.
The problem is, however, that the third book is Norwegian history, which is just briefly touched upon in the first two books. So - should the final exam consist of just one assignment, and that on Norwegian history, I will be so screwed. Sources tell me that the exams mostly consist of two assignments where one has to be chosen - either European history OR Norwegian history. But that’s a gamble, you can never be sure. I just looked up old exams, and last year’s had only one assignment.
So. In less than one month I should be able to write 4-6 pages on subjects such as:
“Imperialistic politics in Spain in the 1500s - foundation, contents, results.”
or
“Discuss progress lines of the French kingdom’s central power from ca 500-900. Include factors such as the church, local elites versus central power and estate economy. Compare with the development in Germany if you wish.”
No.
