The ring of fire

The last couple of days have been busy, but then again not. I know that makes no sense, but that’s what it feels like…

Sunday, we went and picked up Bre at the airport. Yay! I’ve mostly been hanging out with her since then, save during the night (obviously) and some hours during the day when I’ve been doing other stuff. Bre is awesome, and when she just gets back to Australia from Canada, I’m going to have to look up good flight deals to go see her there.

Other stuff, like… Going to the hairdresser’s for a mock-up of my hair and makeup for the wedding. My hair is still curly, something I thought would be impossible to ever pull off. The price to get this done is horrendous, but seriously, the result makes it worth it. Almost. My mum is going to haggle the price.

Today we went to talk to the preacher, and we did a trial run of the wedding ceremony. I will probably have nightmares about tripping over the train of my dress. Or maybe even worse, the train of my dress catching fire as we walk by the candle-filled altar on the floor on our way up to the main altar. Please keep your fingers crossed and your fire extinguishers at the ready.

At least you won’t have nightmares about me coming into your wedding along with my group of expert assassins and killing everyone there. Then shooting you on the head and leaving you for dead.

After a while you’d wake up from the coma and kill everyone that took part in the massacre, including me at the end, via a phenomenally masterful kung fu move that you secretly kept from me all this time.
