A little bit of my internet history

One of the first websites I ever browsed when we first got an internet connection at home (back in good old 1996, I believe - wow, it’s really been that long!), was KissThisGuy.com, and archive of misheard lyrics. I was reminded of it as I was walking home from work the other day, music blasting from my iPod. You see, I can hear the lyrics of songs so much better when I have earbuds in my ears than when I just listen to music from normal speakers. So there I was, listening to No Doubt’s “Spiderwebs”, and as per usual, Gwen Stefani sing “no matter who calls, I scream my balls off”. And once again, I think to myself “HOW, just HOW does that work, Gwen? What are these balls you have? Have I misunderstood something about you and your definition of BALLS??”. And then I listened more closely, and it dawned on me:

She actually sings “no matter who calls, I screen my phone calls”. FACEPALM.

I also use to mishear lyrics and Spiderwebs by No Doubt is actually one of my favourite(d) song since I no longer have a passion for it.
