Cooold cold cold cold!

So this new fancy house of ours? SO. FREAKING. COLD. Yeah. We have this all-the-rage environmentally friendly remote heating system as our only source of heat, and well, it’s not working for me. All our radiators are set to max, and still it is COLD.

I don’t know what to do about it. It might help to raise the water temperature, but I’m not sure how that will affect our bill, which will probably be astronomical anyway, and well, I’d rather not use my raise just to pay for extra heating. I’ve tried Googling for a solution (of course!), but all the hits are about other heating technologies that are only somewhat similar to the one in the house. Boo. And I don’t know who to contact about it either. The people who built the house? They never give me any good answers to anything. The heating company? Not sure they have anything to do with the effectiveness of their heat. The plumber? Will probably tell me that he’ll have to come take a look, and by the way, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT.

Sucks. I hate being cold. I’m wearing thick pantyhose, knee-high socks, and I’m considering putting on my fleece socks too. I’ve lit just about every candle we have. I’m also considering turning on the TV, because, well, it’s a huge flatscreen, it’s bound to give off SOME heat. And right now, I’ll take any heat I can get.
