Some more Twilight
Just a couple more things I feel the need to say about Twilight:
The Cullens’ house was all wrong to me. It could be that I haven’t read the descriptions good enough, but the picture I had formed in my head was of a more oldish, kind of Southern states style house - think Bill Compton’s house in True Blood, only not so run down. And, of course, fitted with larger windows. So maybe a mix between Bill Compton’s house and the Cullens’ house as it was in the movie.
The sparkling. While I have no problem at all with Meyer’s vampires being able to tolerate the sunlight (I think that sets them apart from all the “normal” vampires that burst into flame when the sun hits them), I don’t like the way it was done in the movie. Edward in the sunlight reminded me of the So Soft My Little Pony line, where the ponies were flocked to look like they had fur.
Judge for yourself:

Fifi…or CLEVERLY DISGUISED EDWARD IN THE SUNLIGHT? You tell me!
I will however admit without challenge that I have not looked into the possibility that the So Soft ponies are, in fact, vampires. Having never owned a So Soft pony, I am not familiar enough with their ways to judge whether or not they have any vampiric tendencies. If you can shed any light on this issue, please let me know.

Vapmyran ville vært enda med “set apart” om de IKKJE hadde reagert i det hele tatt på som ;)
